How to use speed dial on the telephone
This article applies to: Telephone Services for Faculty and Staff
To dial a number from the system list (List 3)
- Dial *9. (Hear dial tone.)
- Dial speed number.
To dial a number from the group list (List 2)
- Dial *7. (Hear dial tone.)
- Dial speed number.
To dial a number from the personal list (List 1)
- Dial *8. (Hear dial tone.)
- Dial speed number.
To program personal or group lists
- Dial *0. (Hear dial tone.)
- Dial 1or 2 (list number). (Hear dial tone.)
- Dial speed number location (0-9). (Hear dial tone.)
- Dial number to be stored.
- Dial #. (Hear confirmation tone.)
- Hang up or program next speed number by dialing the next speed number location and continuing as above.
