This lecture presents several examples of data analysis and visualization in R. It will demonstrate a variety of analyses intended to help researchers determine if learning R is a good investment for their research, including new data analysis examples drawn from the WCM community.

This workshop is for beginners wanting to learn some tips to help make online learning easier to navigate. We will demonstrate how to log in and navigate many of the free online learning options available to active Faculty, Staff, and Students. Platforms such as CULearn, eCornell, Skillsoft, LinkedIn Learning, Microsoft, Adobe, and Edx will be covered with time for questions as we go along.
This 3-day course is designed for existing Python® programmers who have at least one year of Python experience and who want to expand their programming proficiency in Python 3. To ensure your success in this course, you should have experience with object-oriented programming and Python 2.x or 3.x.
