How many parties can be added to a conference call?

Up to six parties can join. During a regular call, click Add Caller.

Can you transfer a call to an off-campus phone number?

Yes, there are no restrictions.

Can you upload contacts from your entire department into your contact list?

No. The overall contact directory is centrally managed. You may add personal contacts through the application. Personal contact lists are maintained personally to each user and not shared.

Is training available?

Yes, training can be requested. There are also introductory videos from the vendor

Is any infrastructure (jacks or pathways) being removed?

No. The only thing being removed is Avaya phone sets.

When will my unit be moved to RingCentral?

Check with your telecom coordinator. If you are uncertain who that is, please contact us at NCS-OS@cornell.edu.

I don't want to use my personal cell phone. Is that okay?

Yes. That is up to users and units. You can use any combination of computers, mobile devices, and desk sets.
