Set Up Email Clients for Your G Suite Account
This article applies to: Cornell G Suite for Faculty and Staff, Cornell G Suite for Students
We strongly recommend that you work with your Cornell G Suite email using Google's web interface at gsuite.cornell.edu. This method requires no setup and, as long as you keep your browser up to date, will require no maintenance on your part.
We recognize that some users may prefer another method, so we're providing basic configuration information for a few clients/devices here.
For all devices, for email address, user, or username, use your NetID@cornell.edu address.
For password, use the one associated with your NetID.

Cornell G Suite accounts for faculty and staff require use of Google's 2-Step Verification.
Not all email apps support Google's 2-Step Verification.
The workaround is to use Google's App Passwords.
We do not recommend configuring Microsoft Outlook to work with your G Suite account. The necessary steps are quite complicated and future changes by either Microsoft or Google could stop your email from working. CIT does not support this configuration.
