Set Up Apple Mail for Your Google Workspace Account
We recommend that you not use this procedure, but we recognize that some people prefer Apple Mail.
This article applies to: Apple Mail , Cornell Google Workspace for Faculty and Staff , Cornell Google Workspace for Students
However, if you choose to view your messages through Apple Mail, see below.
- Turn on IMAP access in Google Workspace. The steps below will not work correctly until IMAP has been enabled in the account.
 - Close Apple Mail.
 - Open your Mac's .
 - Click .
 - Click .
 - Follow the prompts to add your Google Workspace account. You will need your address (NetID@cornell.edu) and the associated password.
 - Close the Internet Accounts dialog box.
 - Open .
 - Test for sending/receiving/syncing.
