What is the difference between a host and a co-host?A host is the “owner” of a meeting or webinar and is the person who can administer the meeting via the host controls. The host is the only person who can end a meeting or make someone else the host.
Live polls can be set up prior to a webinar, or made on the fly within Zoom. The polling feature for webinars allows you to create single-choice or multiple-choice polling questions for your webinars. Details can be found on Zoom’s Polling Help Center page.
You can install the desktop Outlook add-in to schedule meetings directly from the Outlook client (more information on Zoom's Outlook Add-in page) or you can create the meeting in Zoom and copy and paste the meeting invitation into a new message in your mail client.
Eligible RolesEmployees and students can create Cornell Zoom accounts. In some cases, the features available vary depending on the user’s role at the university.
For immediate help with Zoom, including live issues as an event is taking place, we recommend that you contact the Zoom Support page and open a chatbot session (see below for details).
