Conference calling or adding a party to a call
This article applies to: Telephone Services for Faculty and Staff
Analog Phone
To add a party to call
(May have up to 3 parties)
- Depress switchhook. (Hear dial tone.)
- Dial party.
- Depress switchhook after party answers.
To drop last party added
- Depress switchhook.
Digital Phone
To add a party to a call
(May have up to 6 parties)
- Press Conference
- Hear dial tone
- Dial party
- Press Conference after party answers.
Note: if no answer or busy, press Held Call Appearance
To drop last party added
- Press Drop
