Cordless Phones in Residence Halls / Houses

Cordless phones interfere with your WiFi data connection, and are strongly discouraged. It is recommended that a DECT 6.0 or 900 MHz cordless phone be used. Students may bring a DECT 6.0 or 900 MHz cordless phone with them or they can purchase one at one of the local merchants in the area.  The use of a 2.4 and 5.8 GHz cordless phone will disrupt your WiFi connectivity.
