Net-Print

Print from anywhere
CU Print has replaced Net-Print as the campus printing service. On August 15, 2021, the Net-Print service was decommissioned and turned off.

Net-Print is a printing service offered by Cornell Information Technologies. It's a fast, easy, and inexpensive way to print. With Net-Print, you can use any networked computer to send files over the campus network to laser printers located in public and departmental computer labs and elsewhere.

You can use these printers at a campus computer lab, or from your own computer on or off campus. You need to install Net-Print to use it from a personal, non-lab computer.

To use Net-Print, you'll need your Cornell NetID and password, plus a Net-Print account.

In order to install Net-Print, or print to a Net-Print printer, you must be connected to one of Cornell's Wi-Fi networks (except the Cornell-Visitor wireless network). If you're off campus, use the CU VPN to connect to Cornell's network.

While the Net-Print application is not available for mobile devices, you can release an existing print job using your mobile device. For details, see Release Method (Net-Print Without Your ID Card) or Net-Print Release Job Using QR Code.
