Password Not Accepted

When I try to connect to eduroam, my password is not accepted and the connection fails. I know I'm typing my password correctly.

How to Solve this Problem

  • When you connect to eduroam, you must enter your NetID followed by If you enter just your NetID, the connection will fail. Sign in with your and NetID password.
  • If you're still unable to connect to eduroam, it's possible in some rare cases that you might have to reset your NetID password. This step is only relevant if you meet the following three criteria.
    • You do NOT use Exchange email.
    • You are a student who has been at Cornell for more than three years.
    • You have not changed your NetID password in more than three years.
