The Cornell Experience Modernization Initiative (CEMI or "See Me") program team launched a refreshed website that reflects the university's bold vision for transformation—one that is inclusive, accessible, and future-ready. With a focus on clarity, community, and collaboration, the new website offers a streamlined experience that brings the initiative’s goals to life.
At the heart of the redesign is a commitment to storytelling. Each page now delivers concise, easy-to-understand narratives that explain CEMI’s mission, progress, and opportunities for engagement. Whether a community member is new to the initiative or deeply involved in shaping its direction, the site provides immediate insight into how Cornell is reimagining shared workflows and systems for the 21st century.
The visual refresh is equally intentional. A vibrant collection of photographs spotlights Cornell community members from Geneva, New York, to Doha, Qatar. These images reflect the global scope of Cornell and the diverse voices contributing to its evolution. From faculty and staff to students and alumni, the community is front and center—underscoring that transformation is a shared endeavor.
“Our goal was to create a site that not only informs but also invites participation,” said Beth Goelzer, CIT Director, Customer Experience. “We wanted every community member to feel seen, heard, and empowered to contribute to the future of Cornell's digital environment.”
With its refreshed design and renewed focus on community engagement, the CEMI website is more than a digital presence—it’s a platform for collaboration and innovation.
