Attach an Approved Address to an Existing Group Mailbox

This article applies to: Qualtrics (Survey Tool)

This information only applies if you send survey invitations using the Emails function located under the Distributions tab in Qualtrics itself. If you only send invitations using the Anonymous Link available under the same tab, through another email system (your Cornell email account, an e-list, or Remedy), this change doesn't affect you.

If you already have an Exchange Group Account (EGA) that you use as your "From" or "Reply-To" address for the Qualtrics Mailer, we can help you quickly set up a dedicated From address in Qualtrics.

Let us know the EGA address you're currently using, and we will set up an equivalent that will deliver responses to your current EGA.

For example, if your EGA is example-name@cornell.edu, the address we'll set up for you to use as your Qualtrics "From" and "Reply-To" addresses will be example-name@surveys.mail.cornell.edu. All responses will still be delivered to example-name@cornell.edu.

Submit a Qualtrics support request to CIT and let us know the EGA you are currently using with Qualtrics, and we'll set up a new address for your use in the Qualtrics Mailer.

This change will improve invitation deliverability and improve the security of the university's email system. See more information about Qualtrics "From" and "Reply-To" addresses.
