Connect to Cornell-Visitor Wi-Fi

Visitors without eduroam (for example alumni, parents, family members, vendors) should use the Cornell-Visitor network.

This article applies to: Wi-Fi

Cornell students, faculty, staff, and visitors from other eduroam-participating institutions, should use eduroam to securely connect to the internet.

Welcome to the Cornell campus. To access the internet, you must register to use the Cornell-Visitor network. Follow the steps below.

  1. Select Cornell-Visitor from the list of available Wi-Fi networks on your device.

  2. A browser window should open automatically. You should see the Cornell-Visitor WiFi Registration screen.
  3. Enter your name and email address and then check the box that you accept the terms of use.

  4. Click Register.

  5. You'll see a confirmation screen. Click Done

Because this is a visitor network, you will need to register your device daily.
