CU Print Sustainability and Environmental Impact

This article applies to: CU Print

Cornell has partnered with the PrintReleaf global reforestation program. CU Print uses PrintReleaf Exchange technology to measure monthly campus paper consumption. To help offset the CU Print carbon footprint, an equitable number of trees are planted at global reforestation projects around the world.

Additionally, all CU Print documents default to duplex (two-sided) and print with no cover sheet to reduce paper use. You can choose to print a document one-sided when needed.

Another important feature of CU Print’s sustainability package is the ability to scan documents directly to your Cornell email address. CU Print multifunction printers can be used to digitally scan your documents to email without the need for physical copies.
