On Friday, October 16, 2026, Quest ARS will be upgraded from the current version 7.3 to a new version 8.6. Starting at 12pm on Friday, October 16, version 7.3 will be unavailable until the update is complete.
This update includes several enhancements to security and reliability.
If you use the desktop client, you must install the ARS Console Version 8.6 on Monday, October 19, to use the new instance.
The new version can’t be installed in advance of the upgrade because multiple versions of the Quest ARS client won’t operate in the same environment. Once the production instance of ARS has been migrated, you will be required to uninstall any previous versions and use the client 8.6 version.
