There are two ways to create a GuestID.
There are the options for OU administrators who need to create multiple GuestIDs. All work; none is perfect.
When a guest uses the Request a GuestID process, and follows the directions in the confirmation email they then receive, an email message is automatically sent to the people authorized to approve requests.
In order to enable the self-request process for GuestIDs or on-demand GuestID creation process, you must create a Guest-Only group in CornellAD. When a guest requests an ID, they will automatically become a member of this group. For example below, we will call our Guest-Only group OIT-guests.
