Minitab Licensing

This article applies to: Software Licensing

Minitab is a graphical statistical analysis desktop application for Windows.

Please note that the manufacturer has ceased development of Minitab for macOS, and no longer supports a desktop version for Macintosh. While the manufacturer is developing a cloud-based version of Minitab that can be accessed via web browsers, that version is not compatible with Cornell's authentication system at this time. We hope to be able to offer Minitab Web to our users at some point in the near future.

Purchase a License

CIT's Minitab volume license runs from August 1 through July 31 of the following calendar year. Please note that all Minitab volume licenses expire on the same date, regardless of the date of initial purchase. We are not able to offer prorated pricing at this time.

Please see the instructions for installing Minitab

Note: The installation process is more complicated than just running an installer.

System Requirements

Minitab 20.3 requires Windows 10 (all editions), 64-bit.

Minitab Web requires an Internet connection and is supported on Chrome, Chromium Edge, and Safari.

Minitab Web

In the future, your Minitab license will also grant you individual Named-User access to Minitab Web, which you will be able to use via any computer with a supported browser and an Internet connection. We continue to work with the manufacturer and will offer the service as soon as it is compatible with Cornell's authentication system.
