Secure Your Qualtrics Survey

This article applies to: Qualtrics (Survey Tool)

The Qualtrics survey tool provides features that allow you to restrict or otherwise secure your survey to reduce the risk of illegitimate responses. Qualtrics provides documentation on how to

  • use individual links
  • require a password determined by you before respondents can see the survey
  • only allow respondents who click on a link in a website you specify
  • prevent multiple submissions
  • turn on a feature that evaluates the likelihood that a response is coming from a bot

For more information, see Qualtrics' Security Survey Options.

You can also set up your survey to require Cornell authentication through CUWebLogin before the respondent can see the survey. See Put Cornell Authentication Before a Survey.
