Cornell has contracted with Pantheon, to provide a Drupal and WordPress hosting solution to campus. Pantheon is a container-based, cloud hosting solution, that allows for easy scaling (depending on the service plan chosen), nightly backups, SSL, and offers 24/7 Priority support to Cornell customers.

  • Pay via campus chart string (no purchase order (PO) required)
  • Service plans:
    • Basic: For sites with up to 25,000 monthly visits and 125,000 pages served; 5 custom domains
    • Performance Small:  Everything from Basic, with added New Relic, Redis, and Solr Search options; 10 Custom domains
    • Performance Medium: 50,000 monthly visits, 250,000 pages served; 15 custom domains
    • Performance Large: 150,000 monthly visits, 750,000 pages served; 35 custom domains
    • Performance Extra Large: 300,000 monthly visits, 1.5 million pages served; 70 custom domains
    • Elite 
      • For sites up that need up to 10 Million monthly visits, and unlimited page views
      • Anticipate large fluctuations in traffic
      • Site requires uptime SLA
