Confirmation Tone

Confirms that you have correctly set up a feature such as automatic callback.

Recall Tone

Indicates that you have correctly set up a feature, and can return to a waiting call, a call on hold, or a conference call.

 

Three short tones followed by a regular dial tone.

Error Tone

Indicates that you have made an error in dialing or that you cannot obtain the service requested.

An alternating high and low tone.

Ring Types

  • One Ring: Call from on campus
  • Two Rings: Call from off campus
  • Three Rings: Automatic Callback signal
