Email Delivery Options (Alumni)
This page describes how alumni set their email delivery options. General information on email delivery can be found in our Delivery Options article. We recommend you read it. Thanks.
This article applies to: Alumni and Visitors, Cornell G Suite for Students
Alumni set their routing on Cornell's Who I Am webpage. You'll need to log in with your Cornell NetID and your password. The information in this article also applies to former post-docs who set up their optional G Suite account during their time at Cornell.

Use your browser to go to Cornell's Who I Am page. You'll see the Email tab.

- You also have the choice of refusing all mail sent to your Cornell address by clicking the second radio button.

You'll see a confirmation screen.
If you have used G Suite before, you're done. You can now read and send messages directly in the G Suite web interface and/or by using whatever email client you prefer. See our Set Up Email Clients for G Suite article for details on configuring a client.
If you have never used G Suite before, your confirmation screen will include this sentence (as shown in the screenshot below): Next, go to here and change your NetID password.
Click the link in WhoIAm or the link in this sentence to take you to the Reset NetID Password page.
You can now read and send messages directly in the G Suite web interface and/or by using whatever email client you prefer. See our Set Up Email Clients for G Suite article for details on configuring a client.
You can change your mail routing as often as you like.
Please note that routing is not retroactive, meaning that the messages you received before you updated these settings will not be re-delivered to the addresses you added.
