How to decide which files you should ignore, remove, or keep after scanning for confidential data with Identity Finder.

| Yes | Remove | You are sure you no longer need the file. Use the Shred tool to securely delete files.
Warning! If you are using Thunderbird or Eudora, do not shred mail messages. Shredding mail messages in Thunderbird or Eudora will shred your entire mailbox. If confidential data is identified in a mail message, open Thunderbird or Eudora and delete the message. Then empty the trash and compact your folders. This will securely delete the mail message. |
