This article applies to: Spirion (formerly Identity Finder)

Is it Confidential Data? Action Details Step-by-Step
No Ignore The match was a false positive. Files you ignore with the Ignore tool are skipped in future scans (as long as the file remains unchanged). Ignore Files
Yes  Remove You are sure you no longer need the file. Use the Shred tool to securely delete files.

Warning! If you are using Thunderbird or Eudora, do not shred mail messages. Shredding mail messages in Thunderbird or Eudora will shred your entire mailbox. Shred Files
Keep

If the file contains confidential data that you may need to continue storing on your computer, determine, based on local practices, what to do with it. (You may need to store it in a particular location or encrypt it.) Ask your local technical support provider for assistance.
