Qualtrics Error when Weill Staff Try to Create a NetID-Based Ithaca Account

This article applies to: Qualtrics (Survey Tool)

When someone who typically uses Weill Cornell Medicine's Qualtrics tries to sign into Ithaca's Qualtrics service for the first time using a NetID, instead of the service creating a new account for them in Cornell Ithaca Qualtrics, they may receive an error message. The message is, "We were unable to process your username or the username doesn't exist in our system."

This can occur when Qualtrics does not keep the two sets of login credentials separate during the sign-in process. To address the issue, try signing in using an Incognito window or Private browser window. For information about how to use private windows, see the support documentation for your preferred browser.
