Qualtrics Survey: "Sensitive Data Requested"

This article applies to: Qualtrics (Survey Tool)

Cornell Qualtrics is not intended for use with certain types of regulated data. The system inspects questions to see if they appear to ask for data that should be gathered using other, Cornell-approved, data transfer and storage services. If it thinks it may have found one, you may see a message in iQ or ExpertReview: Sensitive Data Requested.

If you were intending to gather regulated information with that question, please instead use one of Cornell's IT services approved for it. If the information you are trying to collect is not sensitive, there is something about the question that is triggering the warning, but it's safe to ignore the message once you've verified what you're asking for is not considered regulated data.
