IT Security Special Interest Group (SIG) Agenda for July
Cornell security liaisons, technical support providers, and those interested in learning more about security-related topics are invited to join the monthly IT Security SIG meeting on Wednesday, July 9, from 10:30am-12pm ET. This month there will be presentations from Muhammad Arif with Identity Management, and Ayham Boucher on the State of AI at Cornell.
TeamDynamix User Interface Improvements Rescheduled for Saturday, July 19, 2025
TeamDynamix version 12 has been rescheduled to be implemented for Cornell IT technicians on Saturday, July 19, 2025. The new version will make changes to the look and feel of the TDNext interface used to work customer tickets, including more streamlined navigation, reduced reliance on pop-up windows, and an upgraded dashboard system.
Adobe Restricts Access to Acrobat Sign in China on June 30, 2025
Effective June 30, 2025, people in mainland China will be unable to use Acrobat Sign. This is a result of Adobe’s recent decision to block access to and from IP addresses located in mainland China. Please note that Hong Kong is not affected. If this change affects you, please email the E-Signature Support Team to let them know. In the meantime, the recommendation for individuals who are conducting business in or with China is to use handwritten ink signatures and then scan or mail the documents.
If Your OneDrive Collaborator Leaves, Files Shared to You Will Soon Go Too
If someone you've collaborated with in OneDrive leaves Cornell, their OneDrive files shared to you will become read-only then eventually be deleted.

Updating your Cornell-Managed Windows Computer Will Be Easier Than Ever
Over the summer, all campus IT units will be changing the patching application for Cornell-managed Windows computers. When the rollout is complete, the OS-integrated Windows Update application will be your source for updates. Some IT units have already switched over. The transition will be complete for all IT units by October 2025.
