Eligibility for Academic Accounts

Faculty members currently employed by Cornell University and academic staff supporting a course can obtain an account on the Academic Technologies web servers for instructional purposes.

Requesting Additional Accounts

Once a website is established, you may request additional accounts. Undergraduate and graduate students requesting accounts must have a faculty sponsor. Eligible faculty may request additional shell accounts for TAs, research assistants, students, third-party developers, etc. to provide independent access to materials.

Student Access

Faculty and academic staff who want to provide web hosting to students as part of a class will need to provide a list with each student NetID at the time of request.

Third-Party Developers
