Prevent Survey Results Deletion
This article applies to: Surveys Lite (Microsoft Forms)
If deleted, survey results in Microsoft Forms can't be recovered by administrators or Microsoft.
Take one or more of the following actions to prevent the accidental loss of survey results.
- Always use Open results in Excel (live-sync), not just “Download a copy”
- Enable Power Automate to archive each response
- Use group-owned forms, so data isn’t tied to one user account
- Export responses before editing or deleting questions
