Study Space at Cornell

Book Your Study Space Online

Cornell Chatter lets you select from several options, including:

  • Quiet spaces for reading, writing, or listening

  • Interactive spaces to use Zoom or other videoconferencing

  • Small group spaces

Book a Study Space lets students reserve space in a room designated for studying. The app is available in Cornell Chatter (website and app). Reservable spaces are located in the Cornell libraries as well as many academic buildings around campus. Spaces that don't require waiting at the libraries and for using Zoom to participate in an online synchronous class are also available.

Students can filter by building or by room type (quiet spaces for reading, writing, listening; interactive spaces to use Zoom or other videoconferencing; and small group spaces). The colleges, schools, and libraries will set hours and monitor use. Each space has a cleaning station, and Cornell’s custodial staff will clean the spaces once a day.
