The Office Connector plug-in allows you to import Microsoft Office documents into Confluence pages, as well as edit Confluence pages directly from Microsoft Office.

Using the ViewFile Macro
An alternate method of working with Microsoft Office, and other, files within Confluence is to use the ViewFile Macro, which allows you to embed such files into your Confluence pages. This differs from using the Office Connector plug-in in that embedded files cannot be edited within Confluence, since they act as attachment links.

Note: Confluence limits file sizes to a maximum of 15MB. We recommend using Box to store your files. Another way to include Microsoft Office documents is to create links on your Confluence page to your Microsoft Office files stored on Box.
