Security Procedures for Cornell Staff Only

These security procedures apply to Cornell University staff only.

  • Scans for confidential data - Regular scans using Identity Finder should be made against all systems regardless of their use. CIT Support will schedule Identity Finder on all Commercial Applications desktops.  
  • Use of central back-up service - No exemptions should be made from using EZ-Backup.  
  • Staff participation in awareness, attestation, and audit - The Commercial Applications group has a standing internal security committee that reviews practices and procedures.
