Edit Content in Marketing Cloud
If you have not previously created a newsletter or publication in Marketing Cloud, refer to the team documentation for newsletter creation. These instructions focus on service announcements and bulkmail communications, which typically contain minimal formatting and no images.

- Navigate to 02_CIT_COMM > Emails > Bulkmail.
- Locate a previous bulkmail message and select Duplicate.
- Retain BulkMail in the message name and update the date or description as appropriate.
- Edit the message content.
- Determine whether personalization is required.
- If using personalization, verify that all field names match the fields available in the associated Data Extension.
Preview and Test the Message
- Select Preview and Test.
- Review the message for formatting, accessibility, and content accuracy.
- If the message does not contain personalization, use the Preview and Test window to validate the content.
- Select the Envelope icon to send a test message to up to five email addresses.
- If the message contains personalization, select the audience icon to access the Data Extension records.
- Select a recipient record from the Data Extension to preview personalized content.
- Confirm that all personalized fields display the expected data.
- Review the test message in Outlook and other commonly used email clients.
Tip: Include yourself in the original Data Extension and use easily recognizable test values when validating personalized content.
Submit for Verified Communications
- When content review is complete, select Save and Send.
