Why Use a Password Manager?
This article applies to: Secure Password Management
If you spend time online (and look, you're online right now!), you probably have dozens or hundreds of accounts at various websites.
We recommend that you
- use strong, complex passwords, which can be hard to remember
- use different passwords on each site.
A password manager like LastPass makes both of those things easy. You need only remember the "Master Password" that gives you access to your password vault, and LastPass will automatically fill out sign-in forms for you. LastPass will also generate random complex passwords for you (like 6xE0$@maZK@n
) and you will never need to remember them.
