Request a GuestID

A GuestID provides access to some Cornell services. GuestIDs are available only to people with legitimate need for access.

You need the exact name of the CornellAD Group from an administrator in the unit with which you are associated.
  1. Visit the GuestID Request page.
  2. Complete the form.
    All fields are required except Middle Initial.
  3. After you submit the form, you will receive an email at the address you specified. Follow the directions in that message to confirm your request.
    If you do not receive the confirmation message within a few hours, check your trash or spam filters.

Your request for a GuestID will be forwarded to an administrator for the group you've specified. You will receive another email once the administrator has confirmed or rejected your request.

You must confirm your request AND an administrator must approve it during a seven-day window. The seven days start at the time you submit your request for a GuestID.
