EZ-Backup Problem: TSM Java Client Displays Blank Window

User Experience
Linux user starts TSM Java GUI client (dsmj) and sees either a blank window or a partially-completed window with little or no information displayed.
How to Solve this Problem
The TSM Java GUI client (dsmj) is not using the correct distribution of Java. Linux distributions commonly come with the GNU Java, which isn’t supported with dsmj.
To verify, run “java -version” to determine what distribution of Java is in place. If it is “GNU Java” then either the IBM or Sun Java distribution should be installed and used.
