1. Start up the TSM Backup Client (From the Start Menu, select Programs, then Tivoli Storage Manager, then Backup Archive GUI).
2. If prompted to Login into a TSM server, check that the User id field shows your EZ-Backup Node Name, then enter your current password, and click Login.
3. When the GUI opens, from the Utilities menu select Change Password.
4. As prompted, type in your Current password, your New password in two places, and click Change.
5. A message should appear stating, "Password successfully changed." Click OK.
6. Close the Tivoli Storage Manager.

An IBM Storage Protect password must be 8 to 63 characters long. Valid characters are:

• Letters A through Z (uppercase and lowercase are treated the same; these passwords are not case-sensitive)
• Numerals 0 through 9
• Most symbols:

  ~  `  !  @  #  $  %  ^  &  *  _  -  +  = |  ( )  { }  [ ]  :  ;  <  >  ,  .  ?  / (not double quotes, single quotes, backslash)
