Subscribe to an E-List
For e-lists that allow self-subscription, follow the instructions below, otherwise contact the administrators of the e-list for assistance.
If you know the name of the e-list, visit https://lists.cornell.edu/REPLACE-WITH-NAME-OF-LIST-L/subscribe/ then proceed with the steps below.
If you don't know the name of the e-list, visit lists.cornell.edu, then under the Subscribe portion of the main page, select the list(s) you want to subscribe to using the dropdown. Proceed with the steps below.

- Click . You will be sent an email asking you to confirm your subscription.
- Click the link in the email.
- Click on the web page.
If the e-list is configured to require human approval, the administrators will be notified. Otherwise, you are now a member of that e-list.
Which E-Lists Have I Joined?
- Visit https://lists.cornell.edu/
- Scroll down to the My subscriptions section, then enter your .
- Click . You'll receive an email.
- Click the link in your email.
- Click .
A list of all e-lists you're subscribed to will be displayed.
Unsubscribe from an E-List
For e-lists that allow you to unsubscribe, or which require admin approval for unsubscription, follow the instructions below, otherwise contact the administrators of the e-list for assistance. If you believe you shouldn't be a member of an e-list, and you can't resolve the issue with the administrators, please contact e-list support through the Cornell IT Service Desk.
- Follow the steps above to access the list of your subscriptions.
- Select .
- Select to unsubscribe from the e-List. You will receive a confirmation email.
