E-list Roles
This article applies only to the Simplelists e-list Service. There are different roles (and permissions for those roles) in Lyris.

Simplelists is different from Lyris in that most tasks can only be performed from the web interface, including joining or leaving a list, and admin activities.
Roles
Admin
- Add, edit, or delete admins and list members.
- Won’t receive list messages or be able to post to the list unless they add themselves as members/posters.
- Login is incompatible with COEA or EGA-based email addresses.
Member
- Receives list messages.
- Can unsubscribe from a list.
- Can’t make changes to a list or its members.
Poster
- Send list messages.
- Can unsubscribe from a list.
- Can’t make changes to a list or its members.
Non-Member
- Can subscribe to a list.
- Can’t make changes to a list or its members.
