XM Directory

Mailing lists you create in Qualtrics can be accessed in the XM Directory.

Access the XM Directory

  1. Log in to Qualtrics.
  2. From the home page, click Main Menu (three horizontal lines icon) and select Directories. The new Directories section will display. 

Select the main menu, then Directories.

3. To view all the lists you have access to, select Segments & lists from the ribbon menu. 

The All lists section includes lists you have created and lists shared with you, including lists in the Cornell University public folder. 

When lists are created, the default setting is for them to be private. Extra steps need to be taken to share them with the public directory. You may see lists alongside yours that were created by other people and set as publicly available. Even though you can see other people's lists, they will not be able to see yours unless you took the extra steps to make your lists public. You can tell the source of a list that is shared to you by hovering your cursor over the Share icon.

Organize Your Lists

To view just your lists, you will need to organize them in a folder. Learn more about searching, sorting, and organizing mailing lists

  1. Create a folder.
  2. Look through All lists for your lists.  
  3. When you find one of your lists, click More (three-dot icon) on the far right, then select Move to another folder.
  4. Select the folder where you want to move the list, then select Continue. The list will be moved.
