Working with Confluence Pages
The pages within a space are organized in a tree structure, where each page may have one or many child pages. You can see the current organization for your space by selecting Pages from the menu on the left side of the window. Clicking on the arrow next to a page name will display the child pages for that page.

Common Page Functions
Add a Page |
People with the appropriate permissions can add a page by clicking the button. By default, a new page will be added as a child of the current page, and the permissions for the new page will be the same as the current page. When adding a page, you should provide a page title in the empty box at the top. You may then enter content into the body of the page. The only difference between editing a newly created page and editing an existing page is that you will not be able to add images on a new page. Move a Page |
Pages, along with their descendants, can be moved to other places within a space or even to other spaces. For full instructions on how to move a page: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Move+and+Reorder+Pages. |
Delete a Page |
If you do not need a page anymore, you may delete it. For full instructions on how to delete a page: https://confluence.atlassian.com/x/pSAC. |
Labels |
Attaching labels to a page makes it possible for you to categorize your pages by that tag. To add a label to a page, click on the button next to the labels listed at the bottom of the page being edited. For more information on how to use labels with pages: https://confluence.atlassian.com/x/4xQC. |
You may have an administrator retrieve a page that you have deleted. Contact your Space Administrator for assistance. If applicable, see Confluence Space Administrators.
