Academic Technologies, the Center for Teaching Excellence and the Office of Disability Services have collaborated on an accessibility checklist for faculty and teaching staff.

As of July 11, 2016 the Sponsored NetID process will be done solely through an online form. The biggest change is that only those who are managers in WorkDay (must have direct non-student reports) can request a sponsored NetID.

The Managed Desktop service will now be referred to as Endpoint Management Tools. This service gives the IT@Cornell community the flexibility of adopting as much of the central offering as they choose.

The next OBIEE Users Group meeting will be Tuesday, June 21, from 3:00pm – 4:30pm in G01 Biotech. The agenda will include a Brio/Hyperion Replacement Project update; as well as using database functions with Student Data.

Members of CIT’s Network Engineering and Video Engineering teams answered a unique request from Associate Professor of Music Kevin Ernste, Director of Cornell’s Electroacoustic Music Center.

The next meeting of the Software Development SIG (SD-SIG) will be held Wednesday, June 22, from 1:30pm - 2:30pm in 224 Weill Hall. The SD-SIG is meant for anyone actively developing software or just interested in software development.

On June 9, 2016 the Zoom forum took place on campus with over 120 participants, 90 who participated online.

Stop by the annual Cornell Supplier Show on Thursday, June 9 from 10:00am – 2:00pm, in the Ramin Room, Bartels Hall. CIT and other vendors will be featuring a wide range of products and services.
