On Saturday, November 8, TeamDynamix will upgrade to version 12.1. This release incorporates over thirty different changes. However, they may not affect everyone who uses Cornell’s instance of TeamDynamix.

The Academic & Support Services team has created a longer preview document about several of the 12.1 enhancements, as well as a link to the preview environment.


Some of the scheduled changes include:

  1. Dark mode for technician interface: Enable native dark mode via your profile setting.
  2. Filter on dashboards for report builder: Reports embedded in dashboards can now be filtered directly within the dashboard interface.
  3. Private attachments: You can mark an attachment as private, controlling visibility in the client portal.
  4. Real-time calculation of ticket metrics: Ticket metrics will update in real time as tickets are modified, rather than overnight.
  5. Start a Teams chat from TeamDynamix: Initiate a chat directly from a ticket or the mobile app.

The TDX sandbox environment will be unavailable on November 7 as part of the usual upgrade process.
