Knowledge is one of Cornell's most valuable assets, but finding, sharing, and maintaining it effectively can be a challenge.

This month's Service Management Special Interest Group (SIG) will explore how IT professionals across Cornell can build stronger knowledge management practices that help their teams work more efficiently, reduce duplication, and improve the support experience. Laurie Hemmings will provide a brief overview of current knowledge management efforts before leading a discussion on what an ideal shared knowledge management process could look like at Cornell. Participants will have the opportunity to share their needs, challenges, and ideas to help inform future efforts.

Learn More about the Service Management SIG

Whether you're new to service management, have years of experience, or are simply curious about how services are delivered across Cornell, you're invited to join our next monthly Service Management SIG on Wednesday, August 19, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. ET.

Join us to:

  • Meet colleagues from across Cornell who are interested in knowledge management.
  • Discover new ways to collaborate and contribute to future knowledge management initiatives.
  • Share your experiences, ideas, and challenges, or simply listen and learn from others.

The Service Management SIG is an open, collaborative community where service providers, technical staff, managers, and anyone interested in improving the customer and support experience can connect, exchange ideas, and learn from one another. Whether you are just getting started or have deep expertise, your perspective is welcome.

We hope you will join us!
