Request a New VM from Media3

How to request a new Virtual Machine (VM) from Media3. There are two different methods depending on whether or not you already have an account with Media3.

If You Have Never Logged in to Media3

  1. Log in to Media3.
  2. Select Order.
  3. Select Continue next to your desired configuration.
  4. Enter a Unique Name to Identify this Cloud Server.
  5. Enter an administrator account name under Choose an Administrative User Name.
  6. Confirm your email address is correct.
  7. Click Continue.

  8. Confirm your address and phone number.
  9. Click Continue.

  10. Confirm that you have read the Media3 Service Agreement.
  11. Click Submit.

If You Already Have a Media3 Account

  1. Log in to Media3.
  2. Select Add Services.
  3. Select Add A Cloud Server.
  4. Select Continue next to the Cloud Server configuration with the CPU and RAM you need. Cornell LAMP Stacks are listed at the top.

  5. Enter a Unique Name to Identify this Cloud Server.
  6. Enter an administrator account name under Choose an Administrative User Name.
  7. Confirm your email address is correct.
  8. Select Continue.
  9. Media3 will display your Order Summary. Select Continue to order your new VM. Media3 will send a copy of your order summary to the email address you specified.
