The process owner ensures that a process is fit for its purpose, is meeting expectations, and is delivering value.
The process owner's responsibilities include:
- Process design
- Review and update process documentation to ensure accuracy
- Report on key performance indicators
- Respond to feedback from process users
- Identify process improvement needs
- Lead process improvement by identifying needs based on performance and feedback
- Work with program manager on process roadmap maturity and improvements
- Participates in quarterly meetings with program manager regarding improvements
- Participates in IT Service Management Steering Committee
