The process owner ensures that a process is fit for its purpose, is meeting expectations, and is delivering value.

The process owner's responsibilities include: 

  • Process design
  • Review and update process documentation to ensure accuracy 
  • Report on key performance indicators
  • Respond to feedback from process users
  • Identify process improvement needs
  • Lead process improvement by identifying needs based on performance and feedback 
  • Work with program manager on process roadmap maturity and improvements 
  • Participates in quarterly meetings with program manager regarding improvements 
  • Participates in IT Service Management Steering Committee
