Cornell offers access to some for-fee AI tools. These tools have been evaluated for data privacy, security, and accessibility, considering contract language, applicable laws (state, federal, and international) as well as university standards.

Anthropic Claude
Anthropic Claude tools include Claude.ai, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork, and the tools are managed by the AI Innovation Hub team. Approved for low and moderate risk data.
ChatGPT Edu

Microsoft Copilot Premium
Previously called Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Premium integrates with the Microsoft suite of applications offered by the university. Cornell's contract with Microsoft allows you to use 365 Copilot to work with low- and moderate-risk data but only when you turn off web search.
