As new Cornell students settle into campus life, members of the Information Technology community participate in welcome and orientation events to help them discover technology resources and skill-building opportunities that support academic success from day one.
Each year, IT representatives staff event tables and spend time answering questions, demonstrating where students can access free training to build technology and workplace skills, and sharing practical resources such as bookmarks with helpful links and QR codes. They also introduce students to essential services, including IT support, software available at no cost to students, cybersecurity resources, and CU Print, Cornell's campus printing service.
In the photo, IT staff are helping students navigate the many technology resources available to them, from learning new digital tools and finding support services to printing coursework and other materials through CU Print. By meeting students where they are, the IT community helps ensure every student is connected, informed, and ready to make the most of their Cornell experience.
