Request a Microsoft Office 365 A3 License
For those with A1 licenses, an explanation of the circumstances under which you can request an A3 license

Microsoft Office 365 licenses come in two flavors, A1 and A3. The specifics (and how to find out which one you have) can be found in our Office 365 for Faculty and Staff article.
The Office 365 A3 License is only available to users based on their affiliation with Cornell University.
The following affiliations do not qualify for this license:
- Temporary
- Exception
- Student
- Alumni
- Former Postdoc
There are three reasons the holder of an A1 license can request an upgrade to an A3 license to gain additional capabilities. In all cases, the license will apply only to computers being used for Cornell business purposes.
- Submit a ticket to request access to access to administer a Microsoft Bookings site.

Submit a ticket to request an increase in Mailbox Storage from 50 GB to 100 GB.
There are no provisions for increasing the size further than this. -
Submit a ticket to enable download of Desktop Applications.
Both A1 and A3 license holders can use the Office Online Apps, accessible when you sign in with your Cornell NetID address at office.com.
