Alerting (on an individual share basis) is handled via email to the Administrative Contacts for the share at both warning and critical thresholds as defined for the share.

Defaults are:

• Warning: 80% full
• Critical: 95% full

Custom percentages can also be set, as well as “no-alerting.” The “no-alerting” option sends no email. This may be desirable for a static data set which is full.
