Problem: LastPass Login Takes Multiple Tries to Succeed

Steps for resolving issue where LastPass login takes several tries before succeeding.

LastPass recommends the following steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Update your LastPass browser extension to the latest version. 
    Visit Download LastPass for information on the latest version and how to update.

Then do the following:

  1. Refresh your LastPass vault data.
    1. Select the LastPass icon from the browser toolbar. The icon is a square with three vertical dots.
      • If you do not have LastPass pinned to your toolbar, you may need to open the Extensions menu in your browser to see the LastPass icon.
    2. In the LastPass pop-up window, select Account.
    3. Select Fix a Problem Yourself, then Refresh your vault.
  2. Clear your local cache.
    1. Select the LastPass icon from the browser toolbar. The icon is a square with three vertical dots.
      • If you do not have LastPass pinned to your toolbar, you may need to open the Extensions menu in your browser to see the LastPass icon.
    2. In the LastPass pop-up window, select Account.
    3. Select Fix a Problem Yourself, then Clear local data.
