Do you use Surveys Lite (Microsoft Forms) to collect survey responses, registrations, feedback, or other information for your department or project team?

To help ensure forms and response data remain available when responsibilities change, Information Technology recommends creating group-owned forms in Microsoft Teams rather than under an individual's account. If multiple people need access to manage a form or review responses, creating the form in a Team allows team members to collaborate and maintain access over time. All members of the Teams group will share equal access and ownership.

Already have a form in your personal Forms workspace? Existing forms can be moved to a Team and shared with colleagues. Once moved, team members can collaborate on the form, review results, and continue managing it if the original creator changes roles or leaves the university.

A good rule of thumb is to ask: Is this form just for me, or is it for a group? If the form supports a department, committee, project, or ongoing business process, create it in a Team from the start.
